Susan’s from Port Lincoln on South Australia ’s Eyre Peninsula , born into the Kokata, Wirangu and Mirning groups from the Far-West of SA, Nullarbor Plains area and can be contacted at Tandanya, The National Aboriginal Cultural Institute / NACI in Adelaide , South Australia , 5000.

Susan is a respected Teacher, Artist and Administrative Assistant, running workshops in dozens of private and public schools and organisations ~ teaching indigenous and non-indigenous students about the diversity and values of her culture both past and present. .

As an artist and designer with Balarinji, Susan designed the Master layout for the Qantas Boeing 747 Jet titled ‘Nalanji Dreaming’, one of Australia ’s signature ships - and “Coca-Cola’s”, “Sweet water”, a 2m Coke bottle statue, which sits in the Atlanta Coke Museum, USA. Susan has worked with for example the Sydney Olympic Committee, O’Neill ( Japan ).etc. A very strong ground for her own art which is brilliant. Susan was commissioned by Schefenacher to design five commemorative side mirrors for FORD Australia and is now launching her own range of products around which the integrity of the original art is maintained. The first of which is her Outback Watch Ra nge . Watches that are easy to pack, lasting and easy to give.
